Position Overview

We are seeking a Hardware Development Engineer II to join a collaborative engineering team focused on the development of advanced industrial and embedded hardware products. This role offers the opportunity to contribute throughout the product development lifecycle, including hardware design, integration, testing, verification, and compliance activities.

Responsibilities

Participate in the design and development of new hardware products and subsystems.

Support hardware architecture, circuit design, integration, and verification activities.

Program, analyze, troubleshoot, and validate electronic hardware prototypes.

Develop and maintain engineering documentation, test plans, and technical reports.

Perform root cause analysis and assist in resolving hardware-related issues.

Collaborate with engineering teams to implement automated testing and simulation solutions.

Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the product development process.

Support compliance, quality, and reliability requirements for hardware products.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in hardware product development.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.

Strong understanding of electronic circuit theory and operation.

Experience with one or more of the following:

Microprocessors and microcontrollers

Digital logic circuits

Analog circuit design

Power conversion and power electronics

CPLDs, FPGAs, or programmable devices

Hands-on experience using laboratory and diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and hardware debuggers.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with hardware test automation and validation.

Programming experience using Python, C++, or similar languages.

Familiarity with hardware design and schematic capture tools.

Experience working within Agile product development environments.

Knowledge of electronics compliance, safety, EMC, or regulatory standards.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
