What you’ll do

As a member of our complex solutions engineering and technical account management team, you will use your networking experience to craft, implement, document, test, resolve and deploy Command and Control Network at the edge solutions.

The day-to-day

In this role you will aid and assist in sophisticated demonstrations for current and future customers,diagnose and resolve sophisticated problems, provide critical architecture support, and maintain a variety of network communication protocols. You'll assist in resolving communication system issues,architect/integrate new solutions and influence emerging technology to address customer challenges. You'll be involved in a diverse number of communications programs and projects for US DoD customers as well as commercial applications and will collaborate closely with a broad spectrum of program managers, hardware/software/project engineers and various internal support organizations on a regular basis. Additionally, you'll research technological advancements and evaluate sophisticated data networking technologies to understand their potential and travel to participate in demonstrations and field work at customer sites domestically and internationally. You will be required to provide training classes on products related to Command and Control Network to customers.

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years' experience with Cisco Switch/Routers/ASA Firewalls
  • 3+ years' experience in electronics integration, resolution and diagnostics
  • Provenexperience in network design including Layer 2/3 design
  • Prior experience working with virtualization (ESXi, KVM)
  • Experience with Linux based systems
  • Proficient in resolving and tuning component hardware, software, networking and communications protocol problems
  • Demonstrated knowledge in protocol standards such as IPv4, 802.11b/g, GRE, ARP, MPTCP, MPVPN and IPSEC.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical subject area or equivalent professional experience
  • CCNA Certification or equivalent experience
  • US Government position. US Citizenship required
  • Experience training in a formal classroom environment
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
What will help you on the job
  • CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications
  • 3+ years' experience and hands-on knowledge in operating and maintaining military communications systems and their respective subsystems to include military networks, SATCOM, and tactical radio’s (PRC-163, PRC-161, PRC-160, PRC-167 and MANET radios).
  • Classified network enclave design, and high-assurance inline network encryptors
  • Experience with automation scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible, etc.)
  • Experience with network traffic generators (Spirent, Ixia, etc.)
  • Knowledge/Experience of cloud platforms: Amazon, Openstack, Microsoft’s Azure, Google Cloud Platform
  • Familiar with Free Space Optics operations and integration
  • Understanding of Link 16 and Situational Awareness Data Link (SADL) operations
  • Familiar with TRAX, JRE, ADSI or other Link 16 host software
Salary range

$120,500.00 - $190,000.00 / annually.For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $149,500.00- $224,500.00/ annually
