Job description

Company Overview

DyeLot is a hospitality-focused design studio creating interior environments shaped by story, culture, and a deep understanding of the guest experience. Through integrated interior design, branding, procurement, and architectural support services, we partner with hospitality, lifestyle, workplace, and retail clients across North America to craft thoughtful, design-forward spaces with clarity, character, and a lasting sense of place.

Position Overview

DyeLot Interiors is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to join our creative team and support a range of hospitality, retail, and lifestyle branding projects. This internship is ideal for a curious, motivated designer who enjoys graphic design, visual identity systems, and thoughtfully crafted presentations.

Working alongside our branding and interiors teams, the intern will assist in developing client-facing presentations, organizing visual concepts, refining layouts, and supporting the day-to-day creative production of active projects. A strong interest in typography, composition, and presentation storytelling is essential, with particular emphasis on Adobe InDesign.

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a collaborative studio environment while contributing to real projects from concept development through presentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and production of branding presentations and visual materials

  • Assist with layout design and document organization in Adobe InDesign

  • Create mood boards, typography studies, graphic compositions, and presentation assets

  • Help maintain consistency across visual identity systems and presentation materials

  • Organize imagery, references, and creative resources for active projects

  • Collaborate with branding and interior design teams during concept development

  • Assist with presentation formatting, revisions, and production support

Desired Skills:

  • Strong graphic design, typography, and layout sensibility

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop

  • Ability to create clean, thoughtful, and visually engaging presentation layouts

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Interest in branding, hospitality, architecture, interiors, or environmental graphics

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn within a collaborative studio setting

Qualifications:

  • Current student or recent graduate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Branding, or related field

  • Portfolio showcasing graphic design and presentation work

  • Familiarity with visual identity systems and presentation storytelling is a plus

Internship Details:

  • Paid Internship: $22-$26/hr based on level of experience

  • Hybrid work environment

  • Approximately 3 days per week

  • Flexible schedule based on studio needs and candidate availability

What Youโ€™ll Gain:

  • Real-world experience working on hospitality and lifestyle branding projects

  • Exposure to branding, interiors, and environmental graphics workflows

  • Mentorship and collaboration within a multidisciplinary design studio

  • Experience contributing to client-facing creative presentations and production materials

DyeLot is an equal opportunity employer.
