Job Description
We are hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer (onsite in MA) to help build and evolve a next-generation digital platform supporting a portfolio of internal and customer-facing products. As an individual contributor, you will play a pivotal role in engineering both the back-end data infrastructure and front-end UI architecture, working collaboratively across UX, Product, and Data teams to launch high-performance, AI-augmented experiences while helping transition systems from external development partners to internal ownership.
This role is ideal for a technologist who thrives in 0-to-1 environments, understands complex enterprise systems, and is passionate about creating scalable architecture that supports multiple applications across a growing digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions across front-end, middleware, back-end, and data layers

  • Build new UI experiences from scratch in collaboration with UX/UI designers and product managers

  • Collaborate with UX to operationalize a cross-product design system, including component libraries, design tokens, documentation, and Storybook implementations.

  • Collaborate on data modeling, APIs, and visualization components; ensure clean integration of AI/ML-powered features and tools

  • Optimize application performance and participate in architectural decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and security

  • Implement A/B testing infrastructure, personalization capabilities, and analytics instrumentation

  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and documentation with QA and Engineering team support

  • Collaborate across global teams in the U.S., EMEA, and APAC on multi-property, platform-wide initiatives

  • Partner with external engineering vendors during the transition period and assume long-term ownership of internal codebases and platform architecture

  • Develop headless commerce experiences integrating Shopify storefront APIs with internal enterprise systems.

  • Integrate front-end applications with enterprise platforms, headless eCommerce services, and internal data systems

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of full stack software development experience, ideally in enterprise SaaS or B2B platforms

  • Proficiency in multiple front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and UI tooling (e.g., Tailwind, Material UI)

  • Strong back-end experience with Node.js, Python, or Java, including API and data model design

  • Experience working with modern CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

  • Proven ability to build front-end applications that are performant, accessible (WCAG/ARIA), and scalable

  • Familiarity with integrating generative AI features or data-driven UIs (e.g., GPT, LangChain, or similar frameworks)

  • Deep understanding of component architecture, modular design, and systems optimization

  • Experience with data visualization frameworks (e.g., D3.js, Plotly, Highcharts)

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with UX, Data Science, QA, and Product teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building or maintaining a design system or component library

  • Familiarity with personalization tools, experimentation frameworks, or A/B testing tools

  • Experience developing or integrating headless commerce solutions (e.g., Shopify storefront APIs or similar platforms)

  • Experience working in highly regulated or technical environments (e.g., Life Sciences, IoT, B2B2C)

  • Previous experience contributing to or leading platform modernization efforts

  • Experience with mobile-first or responsive design patterns

  • Experience with working within an agile scrum team as software developer
