Dev Technology Group is seeking talented rising Juniors and Seniors for our Summer 2027 Internship Program. Interns will be based out of our headquarters in Reston, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking professional experience and exposure to corporate environments in the field of Marketing. 

Dev interns will gain first-hand experience and knowledge supporting a leading Information Technology provider supporting the Federal Government. The intern will support a project or corporate team by applying technical thinking and problem-solving to address current initiatives. As a part of the broader Summer Intern program, the Intern will gain experience and knowledge in three key areas: technology trends, professional work environments, and Government contracting.Here are some of the activities: 

What You'll Be Doing: 

  • Create social media content (e.g., recruiting, events, corporate news posts, videos) and campaigns for corporate teams and share on LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms. 
  • Create graphics for the Dev Technology website and social media campaigns for corporate and external events, and other Dev-branded materials (e.g., capability one-pagers). 
  • Support internal corporate activities and communication projects such as event planning for summer corporate events, draft content for the company newsletter, work on monthly Dev announcements, and external communications such as press releases and web content. Work and collaborate with other corporate teams on various projects, such as supporting the Talent Acquisition team to create a targeted campaign for the 2027 Fall intern recruiting events and other projects.
  • Work with fellow Summer Interns on a technically focused project and present the group's results to the executive team at the end of the program. Past projects have included creating a mentorship web application and planning a hackathon.
  • Attend corporate-level meetings to learn about the broad spectrum of the business, such as business development, finance, and project management, and how the marketing role supports these areas.  

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Rising Juniors and Seniors working toward a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, digital marketing/graphic design, or a related field 
  • Writing experience, including blog posts, press releases, or any corporate writing examples
  • Experience working with Adobe and Canva 
  • Experience using LinkedIn and other social platforms 
  • A desire to learn new skills
  • The ability to follow through on tasks to completion
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to be proactive
  • Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team
  • Must be able to commute to the Reston, Virginia office a minimum of two days per week

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

  • Rising senior strongly preferred
