Pima County's Department of Finance & Risk Management is seeking a dynamic, motivated part-time intern to join our Grants Finance Division. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment supporting grant financial activities for County departments. This internship offers hands-on experience with grant budgeting, financial reporting, data analysis, and compliance support, as well as exposure to County financial systems and processes. The intern will assist with extracting and analyzing data using tools such as Excel and other financial systems, and will gain insight into the full lifecycle of grant financial management. We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and an interest in public sector finance and grant administration.

This classification is in the unclassified service and is exempt from the Pima County Merit System Rules.

NOTE: This internship position is in-person and in-office.

Essential Functions:
As defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, this classification may include any of the following tasks, knowledge, skills, and other characteristics. Minimum Qualifications:

Recent graduate from or currently a sophomore, junior, or senior at an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance, business analytics, or a closely related field.
