Overview

The Student Intern carries out duties to the specific project(s) assigned by the manager. The student performs required tasks independently and is responsible for providing a significant contribution to the IT Department.

Qualifications

Education required: Enrolled in a local university in a computer science or related field, preferably a junior or senior level.

Experience: Must have successfully trained in a student helper capacity, Working knowledge of the assigned project(s), Good understanding of IT department operations, Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Office.

Additional skills: Ability to exercise good judgment, Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, Ability to effectively communicate with users, Ability to maintain confidentiality.
