Location: Orange, CT, Rochester, NY, Binghamton, NY Portland, OR, Boston, MA, Augusta, ME, Portland, ME

Work Model: Office

The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, ranging from $75,000 to $92,000.

Job Summary

Avangrid's 2-Year Local Rotational Program provides recent graduates with exposure, experience, and engagement across the organization through three rotational assignments completed over approximately two years. Participants complete rotational experiences every 6 to 9 months, contribute to projects that support safe and reliable energy services, and build technical, business, and leadership capabilities. The program includes mentorship, networking, professional development, and cross functional collaboration. Opportunities are aligned to business needs and designed to prepare participants for long term careers within Avangrid.

Positions may be located in Connecticut, New York, Maine, or other participating Avangrid locations based on business needs. A one-time relocation benefit may be available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in rotational assignments across business, commercial, customer, regulatory, financial, and corporate functions.

  • Support business analysis, reporting, planning, and operational initiatives.

  • Assist with projects related to finance, accounting, supply chain, customer operations, sustainability, regulatory, or corporate services teams.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments to support business objectives.

  • Analyze information used to support operational and organizational performance.

  • Contribute to compliance, governance, and risk management activities.

  • Support process improvement initiatives and operational effectiveness efforts.

  • Engage in leadership development, mentoring, and professional growth opportunities.

  • Participate in networking and cohort learning activities.

  • Build business knowledge through exposure to multiple functions and assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Communications, Public Policy, Environmental Studies, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.

  • Ability to work from assigned Avangrid locations participating in the rotational program.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information and support business decisions.

  • Ability to work effectively within collaborative environments.

  • Communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • GPA of 3.2 or higher.

  • Internship or co-op experience.

  • Interest in energy, infrastructure, sustainability, utility operations, or corporate services.
