Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
  • Write smart, engaging, and timely content for GoodHousekeeping.com
  • Pitch fresh editorial ideas in the home, holiday, and lifestyle space for both print and digital
  • Research, write, produce, and/or update 2-3 stories per day for the site-including gift guides, crafts, decor galleries, and product roundups-with a sharp, voice-y tone and SEO-optimized packaging
  • Collaborate with the art, photo, and craft styling teams to create dynamic visual content
  • Assist editors with production tasks such as building print stories online, image sourcing, research, and fact-checking
  • Contribute to multi-platform brand initiatives, including video, social media, events, and membership programs
  • Support home decor and lifestyle content on TikTok and Instagram
  • Ensure all content is inclusive and reflects the diversity of our audience

Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-grad experience writing lifestyle content
  • Excellent writing and editorial skills with a sharp eye for detail
  • Deep understanding of the Good Housekeeping brand and its audience
  • Strong interest in home decor, holiday entertaining, and lifestyle trends
  • Snappy, clear writing style with a creative flair
  • Familiarity with SEO and e-commerce best practices
  • Experience with CMS platforms; Photoshop skills a plus
  • Exceptionally organized and capable of juggling multiple deadlines
  • Collaborative, proactive, and excited to grow
  • Hybrid role based in NYC with 4 days in-office required

The base salary for this role is between $62,400 - $62,400. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
