Job description

As an Electrical Engineer, you will support electrical build, integration, and testing for customer-focused projects, ensuring systems meet performance, quality, and safety standards.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Develop solutions in collaboration with the Lead Electrical Engineer and customer as needed to refine and confirm the electrical job scope.

  • Gather specifications and requirements for equipment to be integrated into the building.

  • Resolve cable sizing and conduit sizing in accordance with the National Electrical Code and physical space constraints for connected equipment.

  • Partner directly with OEM customers to establish the point-to-point wiring requirements and wiring schedules.

  • Collaborate with the Lead Electrical Engineer to secure final drawing approval.

  • Verify customer-supplied equipment upon receipt.

  • Coordinate and/or perform the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).

  • Distribute the action item list upon completion of the FAT and consult on each issue listed.

YOU HAVE:

  • 8+ years of electrical field experience required.

  • Prior experience in low or medium voltage switchgear, factory acceptance testing, and general electrical testing of power distribution systems.

  • Familiarity with the electrical standards specified in the National Electrical Code.

  • Strong ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.

  • Expertise in multi-conductor control wiring and optical patch cable specification.

  • A safety-focused approach to work in the production environment for acceptance testing.
