The Project Manager at Koops plans and coordinates custom automation projects from design through installation. Working closely with engineering, customers, and project teams, this role helps keep projects moving, resolves complex challenges, and ensures customer expectations are met.

What You'll Do
  • Plan, coordinate, and evaluate project activities from design through installation
  • Lead project planning and provide direction and support to project teams
  • Serve as a key customer contact throughout the project
  • Lead teams in resolving complex technical and project challenges
  • Coordinate solutions across mechanical, electrical, controls, and other disciplines
  • Manage project priorities, timelines, and customer expectations
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to keep projects moving
  • Travel 10-15% to support customers and project installations

Qualifications
  • Four-year engineering degree or applicable work experience
  • Experience with factory automation and/or manufacturing
  • Familarity with mechanical systems, sensors, robots, motion control, pneumatics, hydraulics, and/or vision systems
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with a team
  • High level of integrity with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • Experience with and knowledge of secondary packaging systems is preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 10-15%
