Electrical Design Coordinator

BIM & Revit Electrical Modeling

Location: Piedmont, SC

Degree Requirement: College degree not required

Experience Required: Hands-on BIM and Revit modeling experience

Salary: $55k - $75k DOE + 4 Day Work Weeks, Travel Allowance, Phone Allowance, Health, Dental, Vision Insurance, Etc

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Coordinator to join a growing Engineering Department in Piedmont, SC.


This position is ideal for a skilled electrical drafter, BIM modeler, or design technician who can confidently create and coordinate electrical models using Revit without requiring extensive training.


You will support industrial and commercial projects by developing accurate electrical layouts and models through approximately LOD 200. It is a hands-on production role for someone who understands electrical design documentation and can contribute immediately.


A four-year degree is not required. Practical BIM and Revit experience, modeling ability, and electrical design knowledge are what matter most.

  • Create and update electrical models using Revit
  • Develop electrical layouts and design documents through approximately LOD 200
  • Model lighting, power distribution, electrical equipment, and related systems
  • Produce plans, details, schedules, and other electrical design documentation
  • Coordinate electrical models with architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines
  • Review drawings, specifications, markups, and project requirements
  • Incorporate engineer and project team comments into models and drawings
  • Identify basic design conflicts and coordination issues
  • Maintain accurate model organization, file standards, and drawing documentation
  • Assist engineers and project teams with design revisions
  • Support projects from early design development through construction documentation
  • Meet project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality


What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Practical experience using Revit for electrical modeling
  • BIM coordination or electrical drafting experience
  • Ability to model independently without extensive software training
  • Understanding of electrical plans, symbols, layouts, and design documentation
  • Experience supporting commercial or industrial electrical projects preferred
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus
