Your role and responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.The work model for the role is: onsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Business.You will be mainly accountable for:Sales support for all GA Account ManagersCreate detailed submittals and other customer facing documentsEnter and manage small projectsTrack and expedite OrdersAnalyze Drawings and Specs to field quote Projects of all sizes through EmpowerReview and Hand off large projects to the project teamAssist with change orders and revised submittals for large projectsCreate Opportunities through Sales Force.com (SFDC)Submit RFQs through SFDCSFDC Past Due Clean Out Answer customer product questionsSubmit and Monitor Warranty/Damaged Goods casesHandle credit workflows for project issuesOffer ABB Sales Tool Empower assistance for co-workers and customers

Qualifications for the role

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering in the United States.
  • Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
  • Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
  • Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
