Skilled Diesel Mechanics Wanted!

Hourly Pay: $25.00 to $30.00, based on experience

Schedule: Rotating schedule & Weekends

Sign-on bonus up to $750

Job Overview:
Avalon Transportation is hiring skilled Diesel Bus Mechanic A & B Technicians to maintain and repair our fleet of motorcoaches. You will ensure that our buses are safe, reliable, and fully operational for customer use. Tasks include routine maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and making necessary repairs to brakes, engines, suspensions, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems
  • Complete preventive maintenance and safety inspections
  • Accurately maintain records of all work performed
  • Conduct test drives to ensure repairs are effective

Qualifications:

  • Will consider trade school training
  • Must have a personal mechanic tool set.
  • Subject to drug testing and physical exam as per DOT regulations
  • Valid driver’s license
  • CDL (Required)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to fluently speak, read, and write English
  • Must use manual dexterity and body coordination to perform various tasks
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion
