Job description

About Bluebird

We're The Bluebird Group - we're an omnichannel commerce partner that helps brands grow across every retail and digital channel.

We sit at the intersection of retail, eCommerce, media, and data. We help brands show up wherever their customers are (Target, Amazon, Walmart, Costco, Kroger, social commerce like TikTok, and beyond) and drive real sales growth.

We're not just strategists - we're a hands-on team of experienced retail operators who execute across everything from retail media and creative to data, insights, and full go-to-market strategy.

The result: we simplify what's become a really complex retail landscape and help brands scale faster and smarter.

Job Summary

We're looking for a Retail Media Intern to support our team in planning, executing, and optimizing digital advertising campaigns across major retail media networks.

This is a working internship. You'll contribute to live client accounts alongside experienced retail media professionals, gaining practical experience in campaign management, analytics, and performance optimization. You'll also work within Bluebird's proprietary advertising and AI tools, offering exposure to technology most professionals don't encounter until later in their careers.

This position is based out of our Rogers, Arkansas office.

What You'll Do

Campaign Support

  • Help build, launch, and optimize campaigns across Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Roundel, and Criteo
  • Support bid, budget, and pacing decisions under the guidance of a senior team member
  • Assist with A/B testing of advertising copy, imagery, and campaign structure
  • Support retailer-managed media and promotional planning around key retail moments (Prime Day, Deal Days, seasonal resets)
  • Maintain campaign documentation and support operational workflows

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track key performance metrics including ROAS, ACOS, CTR, clicks, conversions, and sales
  • Build reports and dashboards that feed into client deliverables
  • Analyze campaign data to identify trends and surface optimization recommendations
  • Help connect media performance back to retail outcomes such as share of shelf, category rank, and retail sales
Retail & Category Research
  • Research competitor activity, category trends, and retail media best practices
  • Monitor product detail page content, search visibility, and availability across retailers
  • Learn how content, search, promotion, and shopper behavior work together to drive growth
  • Partner with our analytics, content, and account management teams on client initiatives

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with digital, analytics, content, and account management teams on client initiatives
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment while building foundational retail media experience
  • Learn Bluebird's approach to retail media, performance marketing, and eCommerce growth

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Communications, or a related field

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to PPC advertising, familiarity with Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Roundel, or Criteo, or coursework and experience related to retail, CPG, or eCommerce.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Genuine curiosity about how retail, advertising, and data work together

What You'll Gain

  • A dedicated manager and structured onboarding
  • Client-facing work you can speak to in future interviews
  • Hands-on experience across multiple retail media networks, not just one platform
  • Exposure to proprietary retail media and AI tooling
  • A clear path to full-time consideration for interns who perform well

Our Commitment

We prioritize the inclusion of diverse perspectives. We aspire for all team members to feel like this is a place where they belong. Where they are respected by the company and are empowered to impact the business and achieve their full potential. We understand that relationships built on trust, respect and communication better serve our clients, team members, and business.
