Job Description

The Department of Planning and Development is looking for a Communications Intern for the Fall 2026 Semester.  

The Communications Intern's duties may include Public Relations, Marketing, Branding and Advertising. 

Related duties may include:  

  • Social media 

  • Press releases 

  • Graphic design 

  • Presentations 

  • Photography 

  • Talking points 

  • Blog writing 

  • Writing for web 

  • Writing "how to" instructions 

  • Creating videos 

  • Editing 

  • Proofreading 

  • Help planning events 

  • Collateral creation 

The Communications Intern can expect to work up to 20 hours per week in-person.

Qualifications

Education: Currently enrolled in Undergraduate level studies program in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Public Affairs, Public Relation.
