Job description

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Procurement, you will manage the purchasing of Vegetables, Fruits, and Tree Nuts with consideration to price, quality, logistics, reliability, and supply continuity. You will perform market analysis, supplier management, negotiations, contract strategy and execution, master data stewardship, reporting, and lead category buyers. You will partner with cross-functional teams to identify value opportunities, develop supply strategies, improve processes, and maintain strong supplier and internal relationships that support business objectives.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
  • Develop sourcing strategies and negotiate complex requests for assigned categories using an understand of market dynamics, cost drivers, risk mitigation, and logistics
  • Prepare and review contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, pricing, and adherence to specifications
  • Build an understanding of company facilities, requirements, capabilities, processes, and constraints to support continuous improvement
  • Lead sourcing projects and foster relationships with cross-functional teams and external suppliers
  • Guide business process improvements and support digital technology strategy and adoption
  • Ensure service, quality, innovation, and product improvement requirements are consistently met
  • Drive effective communication and collaboration to influence stakeholders and support change in a dynamic market environment
  • Manage supplier relationships and monitor key performance indicators to improve supply chain performance
  • Apply advanced sourcing practices and category management strategies
  • Lead, coach, and develop procurement talent

Ingredients Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master of Business Administration preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, commodity management, or finance
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with the capacity to influence stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Working knowledge of market economics, cost structures, and value analysis
  • Experience negotiating commercial terms and supporting contract development and execution
  • Intermediate Excel skills; SAP and Power BI experience preferred
  • Experience leading teams and developing talent

Compensation
Pay Range:$109,000-$159,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
