Position Summary

The Clinical Trial Navigator (CTN) is a Registered Nurse who serves as a key liaison between Caris Life Sciences and physicians who order Caris molecular profiling. Leveraging proprietary software, CTNs review Caris Molecular Intelligence results, prescreen patient eligibility, communicate trial opportunities with ordering providers, and oversee the referral process leading to successful patient enrollment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct outreach to Caris ordering physicians and clinical teams regarding clinical trial opportunities for their patients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Caris ordering sites to support their clinical trial needs
  • Review genomic data and clinical information against protocol criteria to assess trial eligibility.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively the key trial information with clinicians.
  • Track patient statuses and conduct follow up outreach as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation of outreach activities.
  • Coordinate referrals through Caris’ Right-In-Time (RIT) Network or to traditional sponsor sites.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support the commercial organization and business partners.
Required Qualifications
  • Active, Registered Nurse license
  • Minimum of five years oncology nursing experience
  • Minimum of five years research experience (oncology clinical trials preferred)
  • Strong communication skills – the ability to convey complex clinical information clearly and professionally
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (BSN) or higher education
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
  • Experience supporting industry-sponsored clinical trials
  • Experience with molecular profiling and precision oncology
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and Site Management Organizations (SMOs)
Physical Demands

Must possess ability to sit, stand, and/or work at a computer for long periods of time.

Training

All job specific, safety, and compliance training are assigned based on the job functions associated with this position.

Other Remote based position: must have a private, secure office to work from

Travel Requirement: minimal, expected to be less than 5% annually

Annual Hiring Range

$95,000 - $110,000Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
