Salary Range: $19-21/ hour
Position Summary:
Provide guidance to resolve operations issues or implement projects. Incorporating manufacturing transformational objectives and processes to improve processes while incorporating safety and quality/sanitation standards in a continuous improvement environment.
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform data analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and waste reduction
  • Conduct process studies to discover opportunities for increased line efficiencies
  • Prepare statistical analysis of process capability to implement improved controls
  • Provide assistance in design and execution of various projects (systems and floor)
  • Create and communicate presentation on learned competencies to demonstrate newly acquired business acumen

Education and Work History:
  • Currently a Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
  • Must possess strong leadership, computer, and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Must be willing to work various shifts in Operations and overtime as needed from June through August and able to travel
