Intern Cardiac Monitor Technicians are entry-level healthcare professionals who assist in monitoring patients’ heart rhythms using specialized equipment, typically under the supervision of experienced technicians or nurses. Their primary role is to observe cardiac monitors, recognize abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias), and promptly report any concerns to medical staff. As interns, they are often in training and gaining hands-on experience in hospital settings, helping to ensure patient safety and learning the fundamentals of cardiac monitoring.
