What does an intern CAD designer do?

An Intern CAD Designer assists in creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software, often under the supervision of senior designers or engineers. Their responsibilities typically include updating existing designs, preparing layouts, and helping to ensure that drawings meet project specifications and industry standards. This role provides hands-on experience with CAD tools and exposes interns to the design process in fields such as engineering, architecture, or manufacturing. Interns also learn to collaborate with team members and may participate in meetings or site visits to better understand project requirements.
