RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Sr IT Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As a Sr IT Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse solutions including dashboards, scorecards, reports, and associated data structures, using Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies, applications, and tools. This role interfaces with business users to understand their needs and translate them into solutions which deliver business value.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Shifts are Monday-Friday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(45%) Business Intelligence Solutions
  1. Design and develop data warehouse and reporting solutions utilizing Microsoft Business Intelligence based tools, services and support (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
  2. Analyze BI requirements and design/develop reporting solutions to support standard reporting, dashboard and self-service environment
  3. Serve as the subject matter expert on data warehouse architecture, data warehouse, and data mart models
  4. Provide on-going support for operational, corporate and data warehouse team members in relation to existing reports with respect to their definitions and differences
  5. Participate in quality assurance testing and monitor ticketing system
  6. Design, build, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric components, including Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Notebooks
  7. Manage ingestion of data from cloud, on-premises systems, APIs, and third-party applications
  8. Build semantic models and support reporting solutions using Power BI
  9. Develop notebooks using Python / SQL / Spark

(50%) Data Warehouse
  1. Analyze and design ETL solutions based on data mapping and provide data specifications for integrating new and/or updating data within the data warehouse
  2. Design and develop database objects (databases, tables, stored procedures, views, etc.) to support ETL and data integrations
  3. Write complex SQL queries
  4. Continually review/analyze data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy and provide solutions for enhancing data accuracy and data processing performance

(5%) Other Duties and Projects as Assigned
Required:
  1. High School Diploma, or equivalent
  2. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar related, relevant and applicable field
  3. Seven (7) years' experience in data warehouse and report development
  4. Seven (7) years' experience in SQL development and report writing, ETL development with SSIS experience, data warehouse design and data integration
  5. Four (4) years' experience in Azure development for data pipelines and data integrations
  6. Four (4) years' experience in Power BI
  7. One (1) year experience in Microsoft Fabric and Medallion architecture
  8. Experience in Microsoft Reporting Services or other reporting tools
  9. Experience in Microsoft Analysis Services and Dashboards development
  10. Experience in Agile methodology software development
  11. Technical training and educational coursework in data warehouse and report development, design and administration

Preferred:
  1. Healthcare experience is highly desirable
