ABOUT US

AtHUB International, we are a team of entrepreneurs. We believe in protecting and supporting the aspirations of individuals, families, and businesses. We help our clients evaluate their risks and develop solutions tailored to their needs. We believe in empowering our employees to learn, grow, and make a difference. Our structure enables our teams to maintain their own unique, regional culture while leveraging support and resources from our corporate centers of excellence.

HUB is a global insurance and employee benefits broker, providing a boundaryless array of business insurance, employee benefits, risk services, personal insurance, retirement, and private wealth management products and services. With over $5 billion in revenue and almost 20,000 employees in 600 offices throughout North America, HUB has grown substantially, in part due to our industry leading success in mergers and acquisitions.

POSITION SUMMARY

About Us

Communication & Design, often referred to as C&D, is a specialty practice of HUB. We are a team of creative professionals consisting of writers, designers, consultants, project managers and web and app developers. Our team creates multi-channel campaigns that include print, digital and web-based projects. Most of our work focuses on Employee Benefit Communications, whose aim is to engage employees and make their benefits information easy to understand. If you've ever received a work email letting you know you only have two days left to enroll in health insurance, that's us! Now we're looking for a Production Designer to come help keep our work fresh, inclusive and fun.

Designers are the creative centers of our team, making our communications so bright and alluring that no reader can ignore them (not even the emails about retirement funds). The Production Designer will be primarily responsible for formatting and populating high-quality PowerPoint templates while also providing support on projects in Adobe InDesign and WordPress as needed. This role demands a high level of technical skill and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in PowerPoint, InDesign and WordPress, and have a keen eye for layout, typography and color.

Our team of professionals embraces humor, creativity and individuality. Our team members include pet lovers, crafters, Netflix couch potatoes, board game collectors and more, so don't hide your spark! We'd love to know what makes you tick.

This is a temporary position. We are looking for a commitment August 3 - December 4, 2026.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for people who are friendly and communicative, who possess a high level of attention to detail, are creative and organized and can multi-task. If you can meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, this is the place for you.

A day in the life of a Production Designer

Work with the Employee Benefits Communication and Design team on heavy production work to:

  • Be a Microsoft PowerPoint wizard - with a focus on formatting slides, adjusting brand colors and ensuring consistency

  • Work with PowerPoint templates to edit existing materials

  • Confidently make design updates in Adobe InDesign files, keeping layouts, styles and formatting clean and consistent

  • Conduct final design reviews, checking for polish, accuracy and consistency before files are delivered to clients

  • Assist with edits and content updates in WordPress

  • Produce and deliver work on time; meet deadlines as set by the project manager

  • Work within design guidelines, standards and best practices

  • Manage client assets and develop, organize and maintain client folders within a shared network

  • Juggle multiple projects simultaneously

Our expectations for all Team Members

  • Work standard business hours, with flexibility to put in extra time and attention when needed. Our "busy season" typically runs from late August through early December.

  • Be yourself and work toward the overall improvement of who we are and what we do at HUB.

  • Be ready to lend a helping hand when needed, and be ready to ask for help when needed!

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to compose clear and concise correspondence.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Remote professional office environment (office equipment including a laptop with the requisite software and/or phone will be provided). You may be remote but you won't be alone - you'll meet our team members during new employee training, keep in touch through Microsoft Teams and catch up with everyone over video calls.

  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essentials. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • At least two years of graphics/production experience in a professional environment

  • Fast and accurate hands-on skills in Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe InDesign and WordPress

  • Comfortable using standard business software (Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite)

  • Employee benefits knowledge is a plus, but not required

  • A creative mind
