Please note. This is a temporary position with the following start and end dates:

  • Start Date: Wednesday, January 6
  • End Date: Wednesday, February 3

We are seeking detail-oriented and tech-savvy CAAS Seasonals to support our firm during the busy 1099 season. This is a short-term, project-based position ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in tax preparation, accounting software, and digital workflow tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify vendors in client Double files who require 1099s.
  • Collect and update W-9 information in QBO and Double as needed.
  • Generate draft 1099 forms.
  • Import completed Excel templates into 1099 software to create drafts.
  • Send draft 1099s to clients via Adobe Sign for approval.
  • Submit approved 1099s electronically through our 1099 software.
  • Upload relevant documents to client files.
  • Perform additional tasks such as running reports from QBO for tax clients.
  • Other duties within the scope of the practice.

Training Includes

  • IRS 1099 requirements and reporting basics.
  • Step-by-step use of Tax 1099 software.
  • Adobe Sign workflow for client approvals.
  • Customer document handling and organization.

Ideal Candidate

  • Pursuing a degree in accounting or finance with a minimum 3.25 GPA.

  • Detail oriented with strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines.
  • Available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week during January and February 2027 in an office environment.
