Position Overview: Are you a reliable, safety-conscious CDL A flatbed driver looking for a great opportunity? Universal Logistics is seeking experienced
Class A CDL flatbed drivers to join our team in the Dearborn, MI area. We currently have home-daily & home weekend's positions hauling lumber, rebar, and various metal products.
What We Offer:

  • Up to $2,200 per week
  • Flatbed Freight (coils of all types & sheets)

Equipment:
  • Conestoga Flatbed trailers
  • Late model trucks
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer equipment
  • Secure and transport flatbed freight using chains, binders & straps in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Accurately maintain logs and required documentation
  • Communicate any issues or incidents promptly with dispatch
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety and professionalism
Qualifications:
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 6 months of recent flatbed experience
  • Clean driving record
  • No more than two (2) moving violations in the past 3 years
  • No more than three (3) accidents in the past 3 years
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
