Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QA Engineer based in Netherlands.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to help strengthen software quality across web and mobile applications within a fast-growing technology environment.
This role focuses on embedding reliable testing practices throughout the development lifecycle and ensuring products meet high standards of performance and usability.
You will collaborate closely with developers, delivery teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify risks, improve processes, and deliver stable solutions.
The position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the evolution of innovative digital products in a dynamic and international setting.
You will take ownership of test planning, execution, documentation, and quality improvements while working in an agile environment.
This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented QA professional who enjoys problem-solving, continuous improvement, and impactful product work.

Accountabilities:

The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring product reliability by designing, executing, and improving testing processes across the software development lifecycle. The role requires strong attention to detail, collaboration with technical teams, and ownership of quality standards through structured testing practices.

  • Perform functional and non-functional testing across web and mobile applications, including integration, regression, and usability testing.
  • Identify, document, track, and communicate software defects while collaborating with development teams on resolutions.
  • Validate bug fixes and ensure delivered features meet business and technical requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test suites, checklists, and testing documentation.
  • Analyze product features and requirements to define effective testing approaches.
  • Monitor quality assurance metrics and contribute to improving testing processes.
  • Collaborate with developers, delivery managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support the refinement of QA methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in software quality assurance, strong knowledge of testing methodologies, and the ability to work effectively in collaborative, fast-paced environments. Experience with high-transaction platforms and modern development practices will be highly valued.

  • 3-4 years of experience in manual QA testing, preferably within FinTech, banking, iGaming, or other high-volume transaction environments.
  • Strong experience testing web applications and understanding software development lifecycles (SDLC).
  • Proven ability to create and maintain comprehensive testing documentation.
  • Solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Experience working with Git and version control workflows.
  • Familiarity with Python, Playwright, Docker, and Kubernetes is considered a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and business teams.
  • Proficiency in Russian and intermediate English communication skills.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work model with the flexibility to work from anywhere.
  • Flexible working hours to support work-life balance.
  • Competitive compensation package.
  • 28 paid vacation days per year.
  • 3 paid sick days annually without requiring a medical certificate.
  • Additional seniority leave benefits.
  • Birthday day off.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career development.
  • Opportunity to collaborate with an international and distributed team.
