What does an intermediate level position mean?

An intermediate level position refers to a job that requires some previous experience and skill in the field, typically more than an entry-level role but less than a senior position. Individuals in intermediate roles are expected to work independently on routine tasks and may handle more complex assignments under supervision. These positions often require 2-5 years of relevant experience and may involve mentoring junior staff or collaborating with other team members. Intermediate professionals are developing their expertise and preparing for more advanced responsibilities in their career path.

What types of projects and responsibilities can I expect as an intermediate level professional?

As an intermediate-level professional, you'll typically handle more complex tasks than entry-level colleagues, often taking ownership of specific project components or deliverables. You may mentor junior team members, contribute to project planning, and participate in cross-functional meetings. While you'll still receive guidance from senior staff, increased autonomy and responsibility are common, helping you further develop your expertise and leadership skills. This stage is an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience and prepare for advanced roles.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an intermediate level professional?

To thrive as an Intermediate Level professional, you typically need a solid grasp of your field’s core concepts, relevant work experience, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification. Familiarity with industry-standard tools, software, or platforms, and in some cases certifications, are often required. Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork help you stand out and contribute more effectively. These skills ensure you can handle more complex tasks, support team goals, and adapt to the evolving demands of your role.

What is the difference between Intermediate Level vs Junior Level?

Job description

We are a performance-driven marketing agency helping brands grow through strategy, creativity, and execution. We work closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to deliver measurable results. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a Media Buyer (iGaming) with deep expertise in Meta Ads, Snapchat, TikTok, and StackAdapt — a hands-on optimizer who thrives on testing, data-driven scaling, and creative collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid user acquisition campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and StackAdapt, focused on driving high-quality mobile installs and first-time deposits.
  • Manage and scale 7-figure monthly budgets, ensuring strong ROAS, retention, and user lifetime value.
  • Leverage AppsFlyer for event mapping, attribution, and cohort analysis.
  • Lead creative strategy and testing — collaborate with the art team to produce high-performing static and video assets based on data insights.
  • Execute a structured A/B testing framework to identify winning audiences, placements, and creatives.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns for cost efficiency, engagement, and revenue — adjusting bidding, segmentation, and creative rotation in real time.
  • Build and refine tracking and reporting frameworks for visibility across all acquisition funnels.
  • Monitor platform changes (SKAN, privacy updates, attribution models) and proactively adapt strategies.
  • Integrate and align brand awareness and performance campaigns to maximize cross-channel efficiency.
  • Explore new growth opportunities through programmatic, influencer, and emerging ad networks.
 Requirements
  • 2 - 4 years of hands-on experience in media buying / performance marketing / user acquisition across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and StackAdapt.
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize large-scale budgets (7 figures annually) with measurable performance impact.
  • Deep expertise in campaign optimization, bid strategy, audience segmentation, and conversion rate improvement.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app acquisition, AppsFlyer tracking, and post-install event optimization.
  • Experience collaborating closely with creative and motion teams on ad concepts and iterations.
  • Strong analytical mindset — ability to translate complex data into clear strategic actions.
  • Excellent understanding of A/B testing, ROAS optimization, FTD-focused funnels.
Benefits
  • A high-impact role in a fast-scaling global company.
  • Competitive compensation and performance-based bonus structure.
  • Direct collaboration with senior leadership and creative teams.
  • Access to premium ad tech — AppsFlyer, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, StackAdapt, and more.
  • A creative, analytical, and growth-oriented work culture.
