This role will be responsible for supporting and delivering net new capabilities for our ecommerce site and supporting sites, as well as our internally managed intranet sites. Essential Functions:
- Professional experience with WordPress plugin development, custom theme development, architecture, and standards.
- Strong familiarity with JavaScript (vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, ES6, etc.)
- Intermediate knowledge of modern web development tools: HTML5, CSS3, and JSON.
- Advanced proficiency with PHP and MySQL, including modern PHP practices (OOP, autoloading, namespacing, traits, interfaces, etc).
- Experience with responsive front-end frameworks (i.e., Bootstrap, Foundation by ZURB).
- Knowledge of SCSS compilers and modern web workflow tools.
- Ability to use and extend build tools like gulp and webpack.
- Familiarity with package managers such as Composer and NPM.
- Experience integrating web and third-party APIs.
- Website quality control testing, browser compatibility testing, and debugging experience.
Nice to Have Functions:
- Knowledge and familiarity with layout systems such as CSS Grid or Flexbox.
- Experience with the following plugins: Toolset and Contact Form 7
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and debugging best practices.
- Experience with distributed version control systems (the Azure stack in particular: Atlassian, and Git repositories in general).
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Segment, and Braze is a plus.
