You’ll likely be responsible for designing components, troubleshooting issues, reviewing code or technical drawings, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as design, QA, and project management. This role typically balances independent work with teamwork, and offers opportunities to mentor junior engineers while continuing to develop your own technical expertise. Expect regular participation in meetings, code or design reviews, and progress reporting.

What skills and qualifications does an intermediate engineer need?

To excel as an Intermediate Engineer, you need a solid grasp of engineering fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and typically a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
