Overview ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (E30-2026-25410) Bowhead seeks to network with a Electrical Engineer to join our team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA for future or upcoming requirements. ***This position will require full onsite work at the Bowhead office or Navy installation. No remote opportunity for this contract*** Responsibilities The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment for electronic warfare systems. Duties will include but are not limited to: Responsible for directing system engineering of electronic warfare systems Prepares and implements directives to ensure effective engineering support, and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped Other duties as assigned Qualifications ***This position will require full onsite work at the Bowhead office or Navy installation. No remote opportunity for this contract*** A BA/S is required in Electrical Engineering in addition to ten (10) years experience in electromagnetic system design, analysis and test with U.S. Navy/Joint DE systems including pulsed power, RF, Laser, and CIED systems and components. Demonstrated skills to design and develop specialized electronics Prior experience with legacy Electronic Warfare Systems is preferred Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and /or move up to 30 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically Target salary is $100,000/annually to $150,000/annually commensurate with experience SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a clearance at the Secret level.
