  • Adapts standards and criteria to project requirements and possesses a diverse working knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Coordinates and produces Contract Documents with support and direction from the Project Manager, Project Architect, and other senior staff.
  • Act as day-to-day client contact and have the most in-depth knowledge of all the project’s facets.
  • Facilitate project presentations that deliver a consistent message to the client.
  • Manage work plans, schedules, programs, communication, and project team assignments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 3-5 years of experience in architectural practice with a focus on construction documentation.
  • Knowledge of architectural detailing and current construction standards.
  • Proficient in Revit and other design software and their application to Contract Documents.
  • Knowledge of codes, consultant's coordination (civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural), and ability to successfully complete the permitting process with minimal aid and supervision.
  • Knowledge of design and construction project schedules, as well as construction contract administration processes.
  • Ability to determine project entitlement and permitting needs for local jurisdictions.
  • Effective communication skills, both conversational and written, for project collaboration and documentation, with a willingness to represent STG in front of clients.
  • Problem-solver mentality with a willingness and eagerness to learn.
  • Proficient in Enscape preferred.
  • Working knowledge of parametric modeling (Grasshopper, Dynamo) a plus.
  • Technology forward thinking and top-notch graphics skills.
  • Experience working on multifamily and industrial market sector projects; knowledge of master planning and yield studies.

We value people who want to immerse themselves in creativity, collaboration, being at the forefront of innovation, and approach design inquisitively and thoughtfully. We are looking for people who are:

  • Interesting – We want people who can provide unique insight into our clients’ problems and contribute to their solutions in unexpected ways.
  • Self-starters – We want people who don’t wait for direction; they find the next task and get started.
  • Ready learners – We want people who are excited to add another tool to their repertoire.
  • Adaptable – We look for people who find the right context and right solution for the task at hand.
  • Tech savvy – Revit, Adobe CC, and Bluebeam are all musts.
