Job description

Job Description We are searching for a QE Lead who will be accountable for driving quality and champion defect shift left approach. You will be accountable for maximizing test coverage and using business analysis techniques to optimize testing activities. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans for small and large projects (might assume planning execution accountability).

You will lead the technical test effort and mentoring junior colleagues as well as taking a hands on approach with functional testing and identify and create test cases. Responsibilities: Manage project test activities and aligning to Quality Engineering best practices while partnering across IT and with assigned business lines to plan functional and nonfunctional testing activities Develop project/program test plans and strategies with a focus on optimized coverage for assigned programs/projects through the application lifecycle and managing end to end quality project activities Responsible for maximizing automation for all project deliverables and for following defined processes and tools and alignment with overall QE strategy and framework Effectively communicates and builds rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close Promotes collaboration and partnering to develop and meet core project objectives and provides coaching to team members on QE, Agile, DevOps and applicable processes, practices and tools Utilize service virtualization tools to enable early testing Requirements: 7 or more years of Quality Engineering experience, with over 3 years leadership experience with defining test strategy and test approach for medium and large size projects in Agile and waterfall projects. Ability to define testing strategies that focus on grey or white box testing approach 4 or more years of hands-on testing native iOS mobile app.

Android and hybrid app experience (nice to have) 4 or more years of hands-on experience testing microservices / rest APIs Experience with one or more API testing tools a must (postman, ReadyAPI, RestAssured, etc.) with intermediate scripting knowledge - 3 years+ experience Must have strong SQL experience - 3 years+ experience Must be well versed in Apple ecosystem (MacOS, xCode, terminal - bash / zshell, etc.) including ability to setup simulators Well versed with Jira / Confluence and test management tools (qTest nice to have) Good understanding of test automation techniques and approaches to be able to define sound and efficient testing delivery Superb communication skills; ability to focus and prioritize and solve complex technical problems 3 or more years of Development and QE Automation experience, with strong technical background in a variety of environments (nice to have) Payments experience in financial and banking domain (nice to have).
