TITLE: Data Architecture - Sr Advisor II
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Design, architect, and build products across credit risk, marketing, verification and data insight product suite. Build applications leveraging data lake architecture to serve real time and batch products. Work with application developers to mentor and produce high quality engineering output across multiple product lines. Lead a team by leveraging the evolution of architectures from 3-tier to data warehousing to big data low latency and high throughput distributed architectures and articulate and influence appropriate architecture. Participate in prioritization discussions working with product managers in an agile environment. Lead multiple product initiatives in parallel by considering interdependency, interlock between teams and applications and removing roadblocks. Keep track of new products and technologies in the industry, compare tools and technologies, and provide recommendations for technical roadmap.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field and 6 years in any job title involving designing and architecting big data and low latency micro services. Prior experience must include 6 years in the following: Hands-on development experience in all phases of the SDLC including performance tuning; Conducting POC/POT using Java, Spark, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, NoSQL, Kafka, RDBMS, GIT, JIRA, Maven, and Confluence; Implementing complex full stack solutions including big data marts and micro-services in large enterprise organizations; Working with on prem and public cloud architecture including AWS, Azure and GCP; Leveraging object-oriented design pattern; Working with the Agile methodology; Working in DevOps; Implementing high volume transactions processing applications; and Developing secure applications with encryption (AES-256), hashing algorithms, and implementing security best practices for data protection.
