Heatcraft Refrigeration is a long-standing leader in the world of commercial refrigeration, providing climate-control solutions. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the cities of Stone Mountain and Tifton, Georgia, produce evaporators, condensers, compressor racks, and other top-quality refrigeration products for their six market-leading brands: Bohn, Larkin, Climate Control, Chandler, Magna Industrial and InterLink. Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.


Location: Tifton, GA - 100% Onsite

As the Controls Engineer, you will assist in systems software engineering for embedded system, electronic components and control systems.

  • Assists in designing, developing and integrating embedded software components and applications.
  • Assists in applying communication protocols.
  • Assists in designing and developing Windows Software applications.
  • Implements software components based on applicable specifications and design.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Basic knowledge of software coding, software design, integration, simulation, communication protocols.
  • Familiar with software development tools.

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $75,000 - $98,500 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.

Benefits: Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 10-11 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
