Your new company:

Seeking to hire a Construction Project Manager to work on commercial interior SCIF projects in Northern Virginia and DC. Projects are commercial construction focused working on mission critical facilities including government buildings and data centers. This a permanent, long-term career position with a genuine career path to a senior project manager position on offer. Your new role:

As a Construction Project Manager in their interiors construction department, you will be office-based working alongside an established and successful field and project management. You will be reporting into a Project Executive. You will be working on commercial interior SCIF projects in the range of $1M - $5M with construction schedules typically being 16-30 weeks. Core job duties include:

  • Solicit, coordinate, and manage subcontractors.
  • Control the project budgets including creating and managing the budget through the project cycle.
  • Attend and hold progress meetings with the client and all associated parties in attendance.
  • Prepare and manage submittals, change orders, RFIs throughout projects.
  • Manage project invoicing alongside project accounting.
  • Work alongside the field management team and help provide them support throughout the project delivery.


What you need to succeed:

  • 5+ years of Construction experience working for a commercial construction general contractor as a Project Manager leading projects.
  • Commercial Construction interior or renovation experience, ideal if you have worked on SCIF projects. If not, experience within complex interior projects.
  • A construction related degree such as engineering, architecture or construction management is desired but not essential.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Project, Excel and Word.
  • Must be US Citizens due to the nature of the work and projects.
  • Must live in close proximity to the office and projects in Northern Virginia.
