Job Overview
The Project Manager (PM) is a key leader at Mission Critical Interior Solutions, Inc., responsible for managing construction projects from start to finish. This role leads the project team, works closely with the Superintendent, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
The Project Manager also serves as the main point of contact for clients and helps drive team performance while supporting the company's mission and values. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations.
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (onsite)
Responsibilities
  • Lead the project team and partner closely with the Superintendent
  • Manage overall project budget, schedule, contracts, and deliverables
  • Oversee procurement, change orders, and project reporting
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones
  • Coordinate all phases of construction from start to closeout
  • Review and approve invoices, costs, and change orders
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Identify and resolve project issues to minimize delays or cost impacts
  • Lead, support, and mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers
  • Maintain documentation for claims and dispute resolution

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and contracts
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Proven leadership experience (5+ years preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software preferred
