Position Summary

Architectural Interior Designer A creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and have experience in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their vision, developing design concepts, and managing projects from inception to completion. A passion for design and an eye for detail is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and preferences for interior spaces.
  • Independently create design submittal packet for various Hotel Brands
  • Learn and efficiently use Custom design and procurement software
  • Actively participate in any training
  • Develop comprehensive design concepts that incorporate color theory, lighting sales, and spatial planning.
  • Create detailed drawings and 3D models using software such as 3Ds Max and Rhinoceros 3D.
  • Proficiently use Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Revit, AutoCAD for creating visual presentations.
  • Prepare project budgets and manage costs effectively throughout the design process.
  • Oversee the execution of design projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate project completion.
  • Present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design offerings.
  • Strong project management with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Assistance in contract negotiations and building processes, and creating contracts with Manager
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas to clients and team members.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing previous design work is highly desirable.
Vendor & Client Communication
  • Serve as the primary liaison for vendors and contractors for all design submittal and related matters
  • Track contractor performance and maintain records of delivered, ordered and shipped goods
  • Respond promptly to inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and contracts and inform at operation personnel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and confident when communicating with vendors, clients, and internal teams
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Request quotes and prepare budgetary quotes
Operational Skills
  • Assist in project tracking, procurement coordination, and logistics follow-up
  • Support cost planning and budgeting processes for project-based work
