We are currently seeking a Senior Interior Designer for our Portland team.
Job Description
The successful candidate is a fun, creative individual who exudes flexibility when collaborating with other designers. You must be proactive and take ownership of each project as well as daily work. You must have strong design skills and experience working in the Housing market. Experience managing client relationships and strong presentation skills is required. The ideal candidate has previous experience managing a team of designers as well as experience working directly with Architects on new construction.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Experience Required:
  • Experienced Interior Designer with 10+ years working with a diverse client and project experience and a strong senior housing design background
  • Ability to provide interior design solutions for any scope of the project including space planning, design, drawings, color and material selections
  • Proven ability to balance multiple projects types and sizes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD (Revit will be the primary drawing tool)
  • Desire and ability to mentor new or junior staff
  • Project management experience is highly preferred (Must be able to juggle multiple projects)
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited university
  • NCIDQ and LEED accreditation preferred but not required
