Architect Interior Designer
Architect & Design Firm – HYBRID after 6 months

THE FIRM
TalentSphere is pleased to be working with an award winning architectural practice working with top tier retail, F&B, hospitality and corporate offices and design centers. The firm works with discriminating clients: does everything from concept development to project management rollouts. They seek a collaborative individual willing to do production in a multi-disciplinary office of creatives (Architects, Interior Designers and Technologists) to work on exciting projects.
ROLE OVERVIEW

You are a seasoned Interior Designer or Architect with considerable experience as a design creative focused on the interior design of retail projects and top tier offices. Your portfolio includes hand sketches and design development through construction drawings for retail brands, or luxury offices. You are accustomed to working with and mentoring architects, interns, architectural designers, and interior designers. You enjoy the challenge of working on dynamic projects that require innovative solutions.
WHAT'S REQUIRED

• Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Applied Arts, or Bachelor in Fine Arts; work experienced focused on interior design on non-residential projects
• 6+ years work post graduate experience, 3+ years focused on luxury or top tier office and showrooms; projects ideally in both Canada and from abroad; preferably larger scale projects and those a high-level of detailing; millwork and luxury ambience
• Experienced in producing high-quality designs: CD, DD, FFE, millwork, signage & branding & visualizations
• Experience working in structured teams; maintaining design standards; strong software skills; ability to hand-sketch; render; and make pitches to top tier clients
• Some concept design and development skills, working drawings; a big plus if you have experience meeting clients for scope of work, scheduling & budget considerations
• Strong time management and OBC skills
• Software: AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit skills a big plus; strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & Sketchup
