Job description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Interiors Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role oversees every phase of project execution, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate has a strong background managing commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and flooring projects. You'll work closely with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams while managing budgets, schedules, procurement, and project documentation. This position is ideal for a motivated leader who excels at coordinating multiple projects in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.
Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial interior construction projects from contract award through final completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to verify scope and identify potential issues.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel throughout each project.
  • Oversee project budgets, labor, procurement, material deliveries, subcontractor performance, and cost controls.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, project billing, and closeout documentation.
  • Conduct routine jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, productivity, and schedule performance.
  • Identify project risks and proactively resolve issues that could impact cost, quality, or schedule.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and internal leadership.
  • Ensure punch list completion, final documentation, and successful project closeout.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of project management experience in commercial interior construction.
  • Experience managing projects involving drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, or related commercial finishes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, client relationships, and multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
