Interior Designer / Interiors-Focused Architectural Designer

Location: Raleigh, NC | Full-Time | Hybrid Work Environment

Department: Design Services | Interiors
Reports To: Director of Interiors

Position Summary

Integrated Design is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer / Interiors-Focused Architectural Designer to join our collaborative team in Raleigh. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of interior environments that inspire creativity, support innovation, and reflect the unique identity of each client.

As part of our integrated project teams, you’ll be responsible for developing interior concepts, preparing design presentations, selecting materials and finishes, and producing detailed documentation for projects in science, technology, workplace, and athletics sectors. You’ll collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver cohesive and high-performing interior environments from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of interior design concepts, space planning, and material palettes.
  • Prepare design presentations, renderings, and finish boards for client review.
  • Develop interior construction documents and specifications in Revit.
  • Coordinate with architecture and engineering teams to ensure design integration and consistency.
  • Assist in product research, finish selection, and furniture coordination.
  • Coordinate with finish product reps for samples and material updates.
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to design discussions and documentation.
  • Support project managers in maintaining design intent throughout project delivery.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in an architectural or interior design firm.
  • Proficiency in Revit and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator required).
  • Experience with SketchUp, Enscape, or other 3D modeling tools preferred.
  • Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate design ideas clearly through drawings, graphics, and presentations.
