Position Summary

As an AutoCAD Technician, you will be responsible for designing and laying out systems and frame scaffolding solutions for construction projects across your region. This role supports a variety of commercial and industrial applications, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective scaffold designs.

Key Responsibilities

Sunbelt Rentals, Scaffold Services Division, is seeking an AutoCAD Technician to develop detailed scaffold design layouts for construction projects. Project types include:

  • Exterior scaffolding around building perimeters
  • Interior elevated work platforms ("dance floors")
  • Industrial scaffolding applications, including tanks and complex structures (both internal and external)

You will collaborate closely with project teams and clients, including commercial and industrial contractors, to deliver practical and compliant solutions.

Qualifications
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong spatial awareness
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Above-average math skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous scaffold experience or construction background required
Physical Requirements

This role may require physical activity, including:

  • Bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching
  • Lifting 50 lbs (23 kg) or more

Base Pay Range

28.26 - 40.62
