As aCarpenter at ITC Construction, you will be responsible for constructing, remodeling, retrofitting, and repairing interior and exterior structures made of wood, drywall, plaster, concrete, or brick. You will work closely with the Site Superintendent, following instructions and blueprints to deliver high-quality results safely and efficiently.


What You Will Do:

  • Design, construct, remodel, retrofit and repair interior and exterior structures made of wood, drywall, plaster, concrete or brick
  • Work with instructions and/or blueprints from Site Superintendent
  • Utilize chisels, planes saws, drills and sanders to repair and erect structures
  • Join materials with nails, screws, staples or adhesives
  • Work on top of stilts, ladders, and top beams of buildings
  • Check work progress to ensure that it meets quality standards, codes and specifications
  • Use levels, rules, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure
  • Work with prefabricated buildings
  • Build stairs and other structures
  • Create structures for pouring concrete
  • Erect scaffolding
  • Install partitions, doors and windows
  • Ensure all safety standards are followed when working on construction job sites

This role could be for you if you have:

  • 3+ years proven experience in the residential construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction standards, and quality control methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple trades.
  • Red Seal Ticket
  • Must be open to performing physical activities (lifting equipment up to 50lbs)
  • Demonstrated ability to safely use manual tools and equipment
