DESIGN TECHNICIAN


KINGDOM, located in the metro Atlanta area, is one the nation’s leading kitchen and bath design and build firms, and we're seeking a qualified individual for immediate, full-time employment.

From design to manufacturing to installation, we strive to produce a custom, luxury product and service reflective of our company values and high standard of quality. We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual with cabinetry design experience to add to our KINGDOM Team.


We're looking for a Design Technician to join our team and take on responsibilities including:


  • Create detailed cabinet drawings in Sketchup\CAD from designer sketches or from architectural elevations adapting to KW standards of design and construction
  • Understanding and applying appliance and plumbing specs to cabinet applications
  • Assist and take notes in client meetings
  • Create job binders to keep track of notes, drawings, selections, estimates, and invoices
  • Visit job sites and perform site measurements
  • Communicate with clients via email for meetings and selections
  • Answer questions and coordinate with shop to propose solutions during manufacturing and installation processes
  • Assisting in special projects and assignments as assigned
  • Identifying potential problems with production and proposing solutions


Qualifications/Requirements:


  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Google SketchUp
  • Architectural, Engineering, or Interior Design Degree required
  • Knowledge of building codes related to kitchen and baths
  • Great Attitude is a must

  • Ability to do research of new products to be integrated into cabinet design and present to designer/owner


This in person position provides opportunity for professional growth within the company. The individual who joins our team should expect to scale with our company and be ready to take on larger responsibilities over time. The position will report directly to our Principal.
