The Senior Manager Dermalogica Flagships is a highly skilled and motivated sales and services leader charged with managing daily operations of Dermalogica's skin care Flagship studios located in Santa Monica and West Hollywood California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in skin care, medical aesthetics and/or professional salon services. They will be experienced in retail sales management, have exceptional leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. As the Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the Flagship locations operate efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of service and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of professional skin therapists, receptionists, and support staff.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to enhance salon efficiency.
  • Manage, in partnership with US marketing, clear, consistent brand representation across all touchpoints
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and implement strategies to improve service quality and client retention.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute client engagement and retention programs.
  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to increase store revenue in both service and retail
  • Create and execute sales promotions, events, and revenue generating ideas to increase store performance
  • Motivate and inspire team to achieve their sales goals
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance to identify areas of growth opportunity
  • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets.
  • Analyze market trends and client feedback to identify opportunities for growth
  • Manage daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, expense control, and revenue growth.
  • Ensure full compliance with all OSHA, Esthetic state board and medical board requirements including health and safety regulations and scope of practice protocols.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement promotional campaigns and special events.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and adjust as needed to drive business growth.
  • Serving as brand ambassador by conducting community outreach and engagement with the intent of building partnerships with appropriate local businesses and positive brand awareness
  • Resolving all client satisfaction issues or identified concerns
  • Managing facility standards and maintenance including exterior and interior upkeep, safety, and cleaning

  • 5-8 years of experience in a senior managerial role in aesthetics, advanced skin services and/or salon professional industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a team and achieving operational goals.
  • Strong understanding of aesthetic treatments, products, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and develop strategies for business growth.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in salon management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of independence and resilience; ability to think critically and creatively.
  • High level of accuracy; able to detect inconsistencies and errors with keen attention to detail
  • Analytical, passionate, and innovative
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude with an excitement for learning, open to new experiences and challenges

The expected base salary for this position is $80,000-$95,000. The exact base pay rate is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This role is eligible for participation in our company bonus plan, rewarding personal performance and company results.
