Role Description: The A&D Product Consultant is a full-time role based in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Product Consultant is responsible for the diversification initiative across all product categories within the property management, condo, commercial, and corporate segments. The person will be responsible for driving new business through specifications and sales. Required to be the main contact between End Users, Architects, Designers, and General Contractors in the market


Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting potential designers and clients in all market segments with a focus on commercial jobs, condo & property management channel to drive sales in the market
  • Conduct product presentations and support sample needs with new/existing products
  • Track/manage projects through the business sales cycle and communicate regularly with key stakeholders
  • Support marketing initiatives, including trade shows, product launches, and presentations
  • Support the product management team on product needs for the clients in the market.


The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • A degree or Diploma is preferred
  • Three years or more of sales, marketing, or related experience
  • Existing relationships within the Commercial Design Community in Property Management and Seniors Living
  • Experience with interior design, architecture, and general contracting as it relates to the flooring covering A&D industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Intermediate Computer skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of the Adobe Suites is an asset
  • Must have a valid driver's licence and own vehicle
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application
  • Strong Organizational, decision-making, and negotiation skills
