Job description

The Showroom Design Assistant supports the design, installation, and ongoing maintenance of our interior design showrooms. This role combines project coordination, creative styling, space planning, and operational support to ensure every showroom reflects our brand at the highest level.

Success in this role requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to contribute wherever needed as priorities evolve. The ideal candidate is collaborative, proactive, enjoys balancing project coordination with creative design, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This role is on site five days a week.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Administrative Support:

- Assist with coordinating orders for showroom refreshes, product launches, and special events.

- Support projects from planning through installation, including coordinating with workrooms, assisting with installations, driving locally for product pickups and deliveries, and running project-related errands as needed.

- Maintain project schedules, documentation, purchase orders, shipping, and expense tracking.

- Coordinate product orders, samples, deliveries, vendor communication, and installation logistics.

- Organize project files, floor plans, installation guides, and merchandising documentation.

- Support communication across internal teams, vendors, and showroom staff.

- Provide general administrative support for the Visual Merchandising team.

Design & Visual Merchandising Support

- Assist in creating showroom floor plans and presentation materials.

- Support showroom resets, product launches, and merchandising installations.

- Help maintain showroom displays and visual merchandising standards.

- Assist in documenting showroom standards and best practices.

Qualifications

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Business, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field preferred.

- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, visual merchandising, interior design, retail, or showroom operations preferred.

- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar.

- Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar floor planning software is a plus.

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for showroom installations, product pickups, vendor visits, and project-related errands.
