We're looking for a talented and experienced interior designer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This person should be able to perform in a self-directed manner in all facets of the design process, including preparation of presentations, schematic design, design development, contract documents, model building and rendering, as well as construction administration, while adhering to budgets, timelines, schedules, and other project requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop concepts based on given criteria; use feedback to modify designs
  • Work collaboratively with other team members as to best approach
  • Select FF&E and prepare FF&E specifications
  • Increase required technical and functional skills in related technologies, which may include Revit, Bluebeam, Enscape, AutoCAD, Rhino, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop and InDesign), Spexx, and other 3D modeling, rendering, and legacy programs
  • Act as a project manager for small and medium projects and teams
  • Develop relationships and interact with clients
  • Communicate with client agents, subcontractors, and consultants
  • Participate in professional development activities and initiatives, both inside and outside the firm
  • Build and maintain a network of connections within the industry; attend events central to the firm's strengths and goals
  • Mentor and develop team members
  • Any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited school
  • 8+ years of experience in a professional interior design environment
  • Proficiency in Revit, CAD, Rhino, Photoshop, InDesign, Enscape, 3D modeling and rendering programs; experience in Revit is required
  • Knowledge of materials, project design, and preparation of construction documentation
  • Experience in all conventional aspects of interior design
  • Experience in all project phases
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a collaborative, professional manner
  • Able to problem solve with attention to detail and a desire to learn
  • Able to work independently with little supervision
  • Required: Must be a NCIDQ certified interior designer or be on track to becoming a certified interior designer in the future
