Job Description: 

We are seeking a Principal Front-End Software Engineer with deep User Interface (UI) expertise to lead the design and development of modern, user-focused web applications that enable mission-critical operations. In this role, you will provide technical leadership to a team of front-end developers while remaining actively involved in the design, implementation, integration, and delivery of scalable software solutions throughout the full development lifecycle. The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive experience building responsive, accessible user interfaces, mentoring development teams, and collaborating across engineering disciplines to deliver high-quality software in an Agile environment. Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
  • A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science or a related field and twelve (12) years of relevant experience. Also acceptable is no degree and sixteen (16) years of relevant experience. 
  • Strong proficiency with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Strong proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with full-stack software development using technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with state management, component-based application architecture, and responsive design.
  • Experience using Git for version control and working within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience developing applications in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or AWS GovCloud.
  • Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers and systems engineers to deliver intuitive, accessible user experiences.
  • Experience developing applications within Linux or Ubuntu environments.
  • Familiarity with tiered or distributed software architectures.
