Position: Interface Engineer
Location: Warrenton, VA. Centennial, CO. Augusta, GA.
Altamira is looking for an Interface Engineer. This is a new and exciting contract with our customer that will deliver key capabilities to achieve their proliferated architecture. The scope of the project is to be the mission integrator and execute end-to-end mission integration and automated testing. The Interface Engineer will design, implement and maintain interfaces to facilitate data exchange and integration across multiple systems and applications.
Responsibilities:
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand processes and data flows.
Designing interface solutions to facilitate data exchange between systems, applications and databases.
Developing and implementing interface configurations, mappings and transformations using integration tools and technologies.
Configuring, customizing and testing interface solutions to ensure compatibility, functionality and performance.
Troubleshooting interface issues, diagnosing root causes and implementing solutions to optimize performance and reliability.
Monitoring interface performance, data flow and error logs to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Documenting interface designs, configurations and procedures to support knowledge sharing and facilitate ongoing maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
United States citizen
Active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum 8 years of experience as an interface specialist, integration developer, software developer or similar role with expertise in interface design and implementation.
Background in IT and a passion for solving complex integration technology challenges.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex integration challenges
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, the scope of the position, relevant experience, education, certifications, internal equity, customer contractual requirements, security clearance requirements, and other legitimate business considerations.
